I like Californication. It reminds me of the way we used to be a long time ago, before you became a responsible, serious adult, and I still had a reason to wake up. I wonder if every girl has her Hank Moody.

The weekly time killer: Pang.
The point of the game is to collect letters in correct order to create words, thus earning points.
If you collect too many letters and do not use them you lose, but every letter that goes out of the screen means less points..
go ahead, try it.
I must admit the larger part of dev time was spent on using the mochiads API, both for leaderboards and ads - if your'e gonna use their API I urge you to read what they write, it turns out to be pretty essential..

Someone at Flashoo asked today how to make a photo strip move with ease corresponding to a scrollbar. ~Here is a commented file I made to show how this works. ~If it helps you go right ahead and use it.

I found the following references to my Nasrallah game on the web. Most of them I don't even know what the author wanted to say - whether they're with us or against us.. ~~one ~~two ~~three ~~four ~~five

Going through my hard drive today, I found some things I have left out for some unknown reason. ~One of them is a game which judging by size I believe was made as a Flashoo avatar. It's a maze-game, where you have to bring a ball to the end of the game. This task gets a little more interesting because the ball accelerates as you keep the keys pressed and then might bump into maze walls. Check it out here. ~~The other one, Ants, also deals with odd movement, spirals this time. Anty is moving in a spiral course around your (hidden) mouse, and you have to move it so Anty doesn't hit any cruel bugs. As the spiral decays you have to place Anty at home.

It'll be fun for a while, a short while. ~Then I'll be unhappy about something, I always am, you know. I'll whine and bitch about it for a long time and you'll get sick of it. We'll start fighting over anything. ~After a while you'll tell yourself you are not happy there, and ask yourself why you are doing this to yourself and am I worth it. You'll tell yourself you thought I was different, something else than this, that's not the person you thought you knew. You'll start hating me for fooling you and making you miserable. ~I like you. I have my issues with this like but I like you. I don't want to make you miserable. ~I don't want you to hate me.

I started building this game where you have packages tied to groups of balloons going by and you have to shoot the balloons to make packages drop. ~When player picks a package he earns score, or the balloons start going faster or slower, or he gets an extra life, or he looses a life. ~I got the most of it working at the same day, so you can see%3Cb%3E%3Ca%20href%3D%22http%3A%2F%2Fdhost%2Einfo%2Fatarsh%2Fgames%2Fballoons%22%20target%3D%22blank%22%3E a prototype of the game.%3C%2Fa%3E%3C%2Fb%3E Playing it is boring. I need something interesting to happen there and I can't think of anything. ~I guess the prizes can be the thing to make it interesting, maybe you can get stronger bullets which can blow the whole group at once, change weapons. ~Maybe when a group goes out of the screen you might lose score, or life. I didn't work the life-part out just yet, didn’t wire it up. ~Navigation may be too easy as well, the player follows the mouse and a click releases a shot. ~~Then I need graphics and concept. ~At that point I lost interest in the game. ~~I miss those weekends when I felt I was creating something; I miss this feeling of making something I am proud of. I miss having ideas for such things.

This class allows you to write hebrew in an AS3 flash file, it fixes letters order and text wrap issues and handles hebrew-english texts pretty well. Adding numbers to text is not perfect, though. ~To use it you should: ~A. Place the file in the same directory as your FLA, or ~B. Add an entry in the class path pointing to the directory where you saved the file, through File > Publish settings > Flash tab > AS3 settings. ~~The class uses a multiline TextField instance with embedded hebrew font. You can place this TextField instance on the stage during authoring time or create it on runtime. ~Assuming a TextField on stage with the instance name tf, the code will look something like: ~~import HebrewAS3;~var s:String = "Some hebrew an English mixed text";~HebrewAS3.generateBIDI (s, tf);~~The first parameter is the text string to be placed, the second parameter is a reference to a TextField instance on stage. An optional third parameter is the text alignment - "center", "right" or "left". Its default value is "right". ~Currently the class supports most HTML tags Flash supports, but these haven't been tested deeply. ~~Since there is no response-mechanism here your'e more than welcome to mail me: Atarsh at gmail dot com.

I didn't call because it's complicated, you'd know, and I don't have the time or will to handle it right now. ~I'm not angry because it's not worth my anger, not hurt anymore, just... it's not important enough now, so even when Outlook screamed I just hushed it. ~I do hope you like your life now better than before, I hope your'e happy and you have what you wanted. ~Happy Birthday girl, if you read this.
