Crush into a power

You will get more morphine from your cook if you crush the pill into as fine a powder as possible.
Using the bottom end of a carving knife, or some other rounded item, can crush the pill into a powder.
Then you can use the bottom end of the plunger to break down the smallest chunks into a very fine powder.
