WPA Key with special characters and Linux PDF Print E-mail

If you ever came across using a WPA key which has special characters and it doesn't work under linux here is the solution.

Here at the university it took me about 3 hours to solve this nasty problem, you will need to change the encoding at your console to generate the Hex key with wp_passphrase.

I took iso 8859-15 and then got a diferent WPA Hex key from wpa_passphrase

 

e.g.:

]# wpa_passphrase WLANSSID key§omg

this will generate different PSK Keys on different encodings...
