» Make C&C Renegade Open-Source

Renardin (CnC Reborn) started a topic on the official C&C Forums @ EA.

The topic is actualy a poll on EA Releasing the SourceCode to Renegade.

I think it would be vital to both parties, since the Renegade Mod Community will be able to produce MORE and BETTER mods and EA Will Get More profit from their First Decade Pack.

Not to forget, that with the Release of the Decade Pack, there should be a flow of people in the C&C Community.

So, cast your vote Here, by replying with !vote yes and your comments and you will contribute to the community effort.

Red Alert 2: Road To Moscow got two new renders of their mod!!! The allied and the soviet ore refineries. Both of them unskinned but VERY high-quality work and well worth checking out!

Phoib from Derelict Studios reports of an error in Imperial Assault (Generals->StarWars). Here is the details on the error and how to fix it:

Some of you have been getting this message when starting Imperial Assault for the second time: "ERROR 1B Please reinstall, there are some Corrupt/Missing Files"

It has perhaps the lowest tech-solution in modding history: activate the mod again!

When v087 is released, we'll provide a more permanent fix, untill then, just click again.

(No, I do not know when V087 will be released, nor do I know what it contains.

I do know it will be released as standalone and as a v086-v087 patch.)

We are pleased to inform you we have launched
a new version of the ModToaster 1.03 and MidEast
Crisis 1.1.
We have also gone through great efforts to improve
server speeds so people will get a fast download
through the Modtoaster!
With all the feedback we've been getting,we managed to
improve both projects!
If you have any suggestions or comments, dont hesitate
to visit our forums.
MidEast Crisis (at the sending of this email) is
currently being uploaded. This will take 1,5 hours, so
its not up yet.
The modToaster patch is up and can be downloaded.
We will also start adding new mods and new versions of
mods this weekend.
Stay tuned for more updates.
