hi there,

the new advertisement system is up and running.
You can now choose where to place the ads by inserting the code into your pages manually, the existing ad then won't be shonw anymore the code to be placed is:

Code:
<script language='JavaScript' type='text/javascript' src='http://dhost.info/dh_468x60.php'></script>

This is the code for the std 468x60 banner ad, new variations and colors will follow the next days.

Please give me some feedback if it works for you or not..

I did this:

Code:
<div id="topad">
<script language='JavaScript' type='text/javascript' src='http://dhost.info/dh_pan.php'></script></div>

but I still get the floaty ad that scrolls with the page...

Oh and nothing shows up in the div.

Thanks, it works now. I only put it on one of my projects, since it was quite literally made for good ad placement. But then Google kicked me from Adsense... whatever

http://dhost.info/aquatsr/lyrics/ <-- Placed on that site.

The code for xHTML pages:
Code:
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://dhost.info/dh_468x60.php"></script>
Parametre "language" is not allowed and it's required to put attributes' values into quotation marks (""). Is this code allowed?

Do not install scripts that use huge amounts of RAM and CPU power!
Nie instalujcie zasobożernych skryptów na serwerze dHost!

Where would I place it in the MediaWiki software, so that it would in the footer? Becuase I have no idea, I had to use one of the legacy version of MediaWiki, because dhost doesnt have PHP5.

I can place the ad for you if you like, PM me your accountname and the location where to place the ads.

@all
I have changed the ads from adbrite to chitika, please checkout the ads if you like them (the ads on the userpages). These ads should not include gambling and so on anymore. If you still have unclean ads please make a screenshort and PM so I can solve this issue. If anybody is interested in _absolutely_ family firendly ads (like no lotto gambling etx) then PM so you will get a special code Smiley

I need to test these things still.. give me some feedback please Smiley

so again: if you want to have family friendly ads (no gambling, wine etc) pm me Smiley

It does not work in frames. Or should i place a 468x60 banner in every frame now?

I used to use frames, but just for a short time, they aren't the best solution, and there are alternatives to them
