Jason let my site be on his account, and it's doing pretty good lately. The most we've made in a day is around $2.44, not amazing, but considering it's all profit I can't complain; we plan to put it towards hosting soon.

It serves up a somewhat customizable (you can edit color scheme and add your logo) search results page with a few sponsored ads at the top for which you get paid per click, with the remaining "web results" garnered from the site that you specify, IF google has your pages indexed.

I plan to get an adsense account shortly, but had a question for those in Canada. How does the taxing work?

Safaia: well, the US of A can't tax you since you don't live there or have any "operations" there. when filling out the tax forms i just report it under foreign income just to be safe. don't want the taxman to come after you u know   .


anyways another month has passed and my earning last month was back above the 50 dollar mark. my traffic level has also picked up as well which is a good sign. i hope i'll earn even more this month. i should be receiving another check shortly, and i'm looking forward to that.

time for my monthly updates again haha. the dhost forum is pretty empty these days, but who cares. anyways, earnings were up again last month, going past the 60 buck mark, which is pretty good, but not a record for me. hopefuly things will get even better next month. should get another cheque late next month too   .

I have read many such threads and i cant understand how a site can't
or at least make some money from Adsense.

From word go we have had great success with adsense.

I cant say we have done anything more then just place the adds on the website.

Having a lot of traffic helps off cause as do have a large number of members.
I think the main priority with a website is to get those members keep
coming back and getting new members to sign up.
Allways trying to add new thing and something different other site don't have.
The other thing you have to spend money on a site to make money.

At the moment only from adsense it pays for
all our servers and any other expense the website may
have and still have a bit left over
for us.
