This is a personal
message to any and all radio employers viewing the
site in order to enquire about the possibility of a
work experience opportunity with your station.
I have worked for a number
of local Restricted Service Licenses, as well as some
Hospital and College radio shows. This has given me
valuable insight into the radio industry and has also
allowed me to gain experience in presenting, producing
and a variety of other on and off-air duties.
I recently graduated from
University College Winchester with an Honors Degree in
‘Media and Film Studies’, during which I was
required to have additional work experience within the
radio industry, such as live performance to the student
campus and voluntary work on hospital radio. I have also
had experience with hosting my own shows with a number
of different stations. Together with the knowledge acquired
over the years, this experience has helped me to develop
a unique radio persona.
I have gained a lot
of experience from the RSL stations I have worked for
in the past, but it is felt that a great deal more
could be learnt in addition to this, given a more permanent
position.
If you were to consider
me for a future position with your team, I would be
a valuable asset as I have a great deal of musical
knowledge, which is not restricted to any particular
genre or era. I am a good natured, dedicated worker
and an excellent team player, always taking pride in
my work. I have always worked well with my colleagues,
and I have a friendly personality.
As positions for Radio
Presenters are rare in any station, it is understood
that it will take a lot of hard work and dedication
to progress through the radio industry, and because
of this, any position that may be available on your
station that you can consider me for would be a marvelous
opportunity for me.
It is my fond hope that
you can take the time to review my online CV, and listen
to a few of my Broadcast Clips that are available on
the website.
If you would like to
learn more about me, have any comments, or would just
like to say you have visited my site and offer any
advice, Please contact me via the Contact section
of the website.
On one last note id like
to just point out that regardless of where you are
based, I am happy to relocate for a job and that I
am also willing to take voluntary positions.
Thank you for your time
in reading this, and hopefully reviewing my CV and
Audio Clips. I look forward to hearing from you.
