Moon's Eye

So all that Madara desires is to have the power to be able to control everyone. He said he will be able to have that power when he collected all the power of the tailed beasts. The 10-tailed beast or the Jubi will be revived, and he said that he is capable of being the host of that beast. He also added that the power of the Jubi is the combination of the tailed beasts including Kyubi which currently resides in Naruto. This kinda proves me wrong when I assumed that Kyubi was the strongest beast that has the power of all the other tailed beasts combined. Basically, Madara has collected all other beasts except the Kyubi and the 8-tailed beast who escaped from Sasuke.

Also, one of the reasons why Madara and other Akatsuki members attacked the meeting of the 5 Kages is to ask them to cooperate with his plans, that is the Moon’s Eye plan. He asked if the Kages agreed and willing to bring the tailed beasts to him, and when the Kages did not agree, he declared the 4th war. Danzo was not there and gives me a hint that another plan or secret is going to be revealed in the coming chapters.

Danzo

Now Tobi (Madara) always wears a mask and only shows one Sharingan, but he’s showing the right eye. So technically, we got 2 right sharingan eyes here, one on Danzo and another on Madara. However, Madara’s eye was damaged before, causing the transplant from his brother Izuna. It’s not very clear to me whether he damaged both eyes but one thing for sure is that there’s another possible source where Danzo got his sharingan from. Danzo’s sharingan is a damaged sharingan so I am very much positive that it’s Madara’s old eyes or Izuna’s. And it’s also possible that it’s the main reason why Sasuke is on he’s way to kill Danzo. Madara and Sasuke had a heart-to-heart talk before and I’m suspecting that Danzo’s sharingan was one of the topics.

But there’s more… Uchiha clan was murdered before and there were a lot of eyes Danzo can choose from. hmmm… but I highly doubt it too. During the murder, Sasuke is already a kid and again, judging the picture above, it looks like it’s very long time ago when Danzo was very young.

Gaara, Kankuro and Temari

Apparently, along their way, they were surprised by Tobi. As we all know, Sasuke receives commands from Tobi. Their last mission is to capture the host of the eight-tailed beast and according to Tobi, they failed. A fake host was captured instead of the real one. Sasuke was a little too serious of going to Konoha but Tobi told him that Konoha no longer exists. It was destroyed by Pain right?

Sasuke learned that Danzo is the new Hokage, and it looks like he’s a bit not happy. Something is probably going on between him and Danzo. Oh, of course. Danzo has been too much involved of Itachi’s destiny. He also learned that there’s going to be a meeting of the Five Kages, and there’s a new plan. He plans to kill them. What? I think he’s sick.

Meanwhile, the order to kill Sasuke has been released. He’s officially a missing nin who deserves death according to the rules. The allies of Killerbee who are interrogating Naruto and Sakura of Sasuke’s whereabouts are still on. They badly want to kill Sasuke to revenge their master, without even thinking how strong Sasuke is. They really don’t know where they are getting from hunting Sasuke is nothing but losing their lives. Good thing Naruto was able to change their plan. Or maybe not yet. It seems like Naruto has convinced them to try to find their master instead of avenging right away. He explained that he’s also a host, which the Akatsuki won’t kill, and he believes that Killerbee is still alive.

Gaara comes back in the series. Gaara, Kankuro and Temari are heading to Konoha to attend the meeting of the Five Kages.

First, Danzo is not as visible to us as other more powerful leader like Kakashi, Tsunade, Jiraiya, etc…

Second, he looks like a goon.

Third, he sounds greedy.

…and it goes on…

Is Kishi playing some games with us?

Naruto was applauded and guess what, hit hard by Sakura like she usually does. How dare you Sakura. Is that the way you endear people? Is that the right way to show your admiration to the one who just saved your a$$es from certain destruction?

So Sakura just hit Naruto really hard but followed that was a very tight hug and the phrase “Thank You!”. She was about to say “I Love You” but she’s still in doubt that’s why she rephrased it for now. And maybe she doesn’t want scene to be too cheesy.

Anyway, what do you think Hinata felt about that Sakura’s hug to Naruto? Apart from being proud of Naruto, what else? Intriguing.

In the meanwhile, we know Sasuke and his team has their own plan heading to Konoha for a mission which is still secret. But somewhere out in the forest is another group which I haven’t identified yet but I’m sure it’s not the hebi-hebi. One of the team is named Karui whom I haven’t heard of before. They seem strong, almost same presence as the Hebi, and speaking of which, they might encounter each other one of these days. Let’s see.

The Akatsuki is still up on their original mission which is to gather all the hosts. But so far there’s not much update about them. I heard Itachi died, is that right?

The high group of Konoha was on a meeting to decide who the 6th Hokage should be, and so far it was Danzo. Which means there’s no good things to happen for the village.

So a sudden twist of faith happened to Nagato, when he suddenly turned his back to his most favoraite thing to do which is causing pain to everyone. Thinking it would bring peace, it did not and all the while he believed in Naruto.

After some short chit-chat with Naruto, he performed the Gedo Rinne Tensei No Jutsu, and life gets back to the casualties of the attack including Kakashi. Yes, Kakashi lives again.

Meanwhile, Sasuke and his team is planning their attack to Konoha. He seems to not know that Naruto is very well prepared as of the moment and he’s not gonna have easy access to the village. Or let’s see. We know Sasuke has all the things he needs under his sleeves so maybe he’s prepared for Naruto.

After Nagato’s quite long story of how he became the ‘Pain’ instead of the other thing foretold by Jiraiya which is ‘Peace’, he asked for Naruto’s answer. And while Nagato’s explanation is long, Naruto delivered his answer in a short but precise speech using Nagato’s then principle on finding peace. “If there’s such a thing as Peace, I will find it. I won’t give up.”

Nagato was stopped by the phrase, realizing it was his, and it played a big part on his life. Naruto told Nagato that it was on the book, which Jiraiya wrote inspired by Nagato. But while Nagato was Jiraiya’s inspiration, he used Naruto as the main character of the book for a reason.

So Nagato was awaken by Naruto’s answer and now he believes in Naruto. He said he sees young self in Naruto and he sees a different future in him. He’s letting Naruto bring peace his way and while he’s unable to move physically well, he’s about to do a jutsu which will surprise us in the next chapter.

Shall we make some guesses now?

So Nagato finished his 3-chapters long story and Naruto was very patient listening. Nagato was able to deliver the message he wants to share to Naruto and Naruto understood all his messages pretty well. He understands why Nagato is like that – a demolition man. But just like what Naruto’s purpose was, he did not fight with Nagato. But he somehow can’t forgive what Nagato has done.

Naruto was able to take control of his hatred by remembering his master Jiraiya. He believes that he still has everything to gain peace without violence or hatred. He’s on to prove that it is possible. He still believes that he is the real destined child.
