Level
From Travian v2 Wiki (S2-S6), the encyclopedia anybody can edit
All buildings and troop upgrades in Travian are measured by level. Most buildings can be upgraded to level 20, and so can the troop upgrades in the armoury and blacksmith. Some buildings, like the Rally Point can only be upgraded to level 10.
Every upgrade costs more than the previous upgrades. Most upgrades add more functionality to the building, decreases build times, or improves your troops.
