Newbie protection

Newbie protection exists on ALL Travian servers. Newbie protection protects all new players for an amount of time, which depends on how long the server has been running. Newbie protection starts out at 7 days on new Travian servers, and is extended as the world progresses.
If Player A attacks Player B before Player A's newbie protection expires, Player A's newbie protection will not be terminated, and Player A still not be vulnerable to attacks. Player B cannot retaliate for a while, until the newbie protection expires.
If you want to know if you still have newbie protection time remaining, ask a friend to build a troop and try to attack you, or build your own troop and try to attack yourself.
