Troop Info/TeutonsFrom Travian v2 Wiki (S2-S6), the encyclopedia anybody can edit
[edit] Teuton Troop Info/TranslationsThe Germanic units, the Teutons, are not for peaceful players. Offensively strong, but without good defense, they can defend, but only with many troops. Units train quickly and cheaply. [edit] Quick Info
[edit] Clubswinger (Teuton)The Clubswinger is the least expensive unit in Travian. Easy to train, they have only average attack and weak defense. Cavalry will ride them down easily.

[edit] Scout (Teuton)The scout is often far ahead of the troops and explores enemy villages. They are not so fast, as they are on foot. They approach quickly and explore the opposing units, resources, and defenses. If no scout is present in the village you are spying on, this attack remains unnoticed.

[edit] Paladin (Teuton)With strong armour the Paladin is a good defender. Straight infantry is barely able to penetrate it. But their attack strength is rather small and they are only average speed cavalry. Their training lasts a relatively long time and is expensive.

[edit] Teuton Knight (Teuton)The Teuton knight is a powerful attacker, who causes its opponents to tremble in fear and fright. In the defense, it is good against calvalry. The costs of training and maintenance are high.

[edit] Ram (Teuton)The ram is a heavy weapon in support of the infantry and cavalry. Its job is to break through the hostile protective wall and/or the rampart and to allow troops to attack. To be used effectively, they require an escort.

[edit] Catapult (Teuton)The Catapult is an excellent siege weapon to destroy buildings and resource fields. But, it is nearly unprotected! Therefore, escorts must always provide protection. The further the Rally Point is developed -- and thereby the men who operate the Catapult -- the more accurate the weapon is. In the Rally Point level 10, players can command catapults to attack a specific building, except for the cranny which must always be struck by random attack.

[edit] Chief (Teuton)The Teutons select the Chief from their midst. In order to be selected, he requires not only bravery and skill at war, but also oratory. The Chief uses this ability to convince the inhabitants of hostile villages to change their allegiance. The more frequently he speaks before the walls of the hostile city to the inhabitants, the lower the approval of the hostile ruler, until the village belongs to your tribe.

[edit] Settler (Teuton)Settlers are brave and daring citizens of your city, who after long training, go to create a new village in your honor. Since the journey and the establishment of a village are onerous, it always requires three settlers together. At the same time, they need 600 units of each resource to start the village.
