Marketplace FAQ

A marketplace will allow you to trade goods. You can send a Merchant, with goods to another village to give that player goods, but the Merchant will not return with any of his goods. If he wishes to send you goods, he must have his own Merchant send goods. Every time you upgrade your marketplace you get another Merchant. The Merchant basically delivers goods to one point, but will never take anything home again. You can accept others trade offers, or you can make offers yourself. Resources on the market can be stolen, if you are attacked, but you can send your resources to a friend if you know you will be attacked, and when you are not longer under attack, he can send them back. You do not need to be from the same tribe to ally or trade.

Marketplace

At the marketplace you can send resources and trade with other players. Each level gives you an additional merchant, who can transfer resources to a trade partner.

Tribe advantages:
Romans: a merchant can carry 500 units of resources 16 fields/hour.
Teutons: a merchant can carry 1000 units of resources 12 fields/hour.
Gauls: a merchant can carry 750 units of resources 24 fields/hour.

Using the Marketplace When you are Being Attacked

The marketplace can be a good thing to use when you are attacked. You can send away resources so the attacker won't get them, and recipient can send them back after the attack. If you send resources, not sell resources, they leave your possesion immediately, so the attacker can not get them. Here is how to send resources.

The first thing you are going to do is click Send Resources
You should get a screen like this -

You are then going to type in how many of each resource you want to send, and the name of the village, or the coordinates of the village that will be receiving the resources. In my case, I am sending 1 of each resource to dbartucci at (-15,1).

Hit Ok, and the screen will refresh showing all of the data you typed in so you can confirm it. It will show who you are sending the resources to, how long it will take, and how many of each resource you are sending.

Hit Ok to begin sending resources. Your screen will refresh and it will be counting down how long until the resources reach the recipient.

Rohstoffe wurden abgeschickt means resources have been sent.

Now you know how to send resources. Next time you are being attacked, you can send resources to other members of the alliance so they are protected.
