Upkeep is the per-hour cost in crop incurred by a troop or structure, denoted by the number next to the
icon. When construction on a building is completed, or when a troop is stationed in a village, the village's crop production is reduced by the number of that building or unit's upkeep.
Some notes on upkeep:
- Upkeep costs of buildings are cumulative. (E.g., a level 10 rally point reduces crop production by a total of 10 crop per hour, not 1.)
- Villages are subject to the upkeep costs of any reinforcements placed in that village. (Feed your guests.)
- Villages are subject to the upkeep costs of its own troops while those troops are in transit (i.e., while attacking, raiding, traveling to reinforce another village, or traveling back from having reinforced another village).
