World's Edge — Dungeon Craft: X-Men

Some of my favorite X-Men were: the gentle and honest Colossus, the (pre-ninja) beautiful and strange Psylocke, the devout yet playful Nightcrawler, and the god-like and ravishing Phoenix. Those were the good ol' days - before incoherent silliness and all that.

Dark Phoenix
(Jean Grey)
(Elizabeth "Betsy" Braddock) New!
(Kurt Wagner) New!
(Piotr Nikolaievitch Rasputin) New!

The "Golden Age" for the X-Men was probably during the 80s and 90s.

  • Phoenix - Jean Grey was the nigh-omnipotent, fiery Phoenix! She and Cyclops were a true love. (The whole "everyone is Phoenix now" was stupid, and over-abuses the whole Phoenix idea.)
  • Psylocke - Betsy Braddock was beautiful, elegant, but also had a dark side as well. (The whole "Asian body" thing was stupid, and a bit fetishy to be honest.)
  • Nightcrawler - Kurt Wagner was gentle, noble, and witty, even religious! (The whole "devil spawn" thing was stupid, and cheapens his faith - as well as supporting prejudice based on appearances to be honest.)
  • Colossus - Piotr Rasputin was kind, gentle, and artistic to boot. (They should have left him alone with little sister Illyana - the whole "other brother" thing was dumb.)
