The chances of me getting swine flu are much lower than the chances of me getting swine flu from the shot.

if thats really true then its a pretty good reason to not get the flu shot, but youre still more likely to contract severe swine flu from your reclusive buddies than the vaccine. the fatal side effects from the shot are far more likely to occur if you contract swine flu without the vaccine. they arent particular to the vaccine itself

Sorry for sounding all anarchistic, but the media's really just trying to grab onto anything that could give them attention and make them seem more serious-business and interesting. Swine flu probably isn't half as dangerous as all of the other dangers that human beings are constantly facing in their daily lives, such as car accidents, cancer, other types of accidents.. Its just the cool thing right now so they're trying their best to make you get scared and think about it all the time.

By "pussies", I did mean the elderly and already seriously ill. Of course it's got obvious benefits, but for just about everyone on this forum it's not really that neccessary. At least I wouldn't go out of my way to get it anyway.
