I am sick and there are only 3 things that are providing me with any kind of relief:
    1. Jamba Juice
    2. Advil
    3. Watching shit on Netflix via S-video to my TV

Now, I started watching Weeds, which is a totally bad ass show, but wouldn't you know it- Netflix only has seasons 1 and 2 (out of 5?). Also, the only streaming movie I could find that looked worthwhile was A Clockwork Orange, which was the weirdest fucking flick I have seen in my entire life. Can't find anything else that looks good... so if and of you guys have Netflix and know of a good title available instantly, please let me know.

Or, if you can recommend any other way for me to entertain myself for the next few days, let me hear it

Man, A Clockwork Orange was beyond strange, and I feel like the ending left a lot to be desired.

Breaking Bad sounds cool, I'll check it out after I watch these next 3 seasons of Weeds that I got from my friend.

I liked Weeds for a while, but quit out of boredom in the middle of season 5.

Copypasta'd from fusi0n:Man, A Clockwork Orange was beyond strange, and I feel like the ending left a lot to be desired.

The movie is based off the American release of the novel, which has the final chapter omitted. In the final chapter, Alex finds himself half-heartedly preparing for yet another night of crime with a new trio of droogs. After watching them beat an innocent stranger walking home with a newspaper, he begins to feel bored with his life of violence. He abandons the gang, then has a chance encounter with Pete, who has reformed and married. Alex begins contemplating giving up crime himself to become a productive member of society and start a family of his own, while reflecting on the notion that his own children could be just as destructive as he was himself.

Stanley Kubrick read the American version and felt the ending was more fitting, much to the dismay of the author Anthony Burgess.

Yeah since I could see how much time was left, I was keeping an eye on how close I was getting to the end as the last 20 minutes or so ticked down. The whole time, I was thinking "There is no way that they can properly resolve this movie in this amount of time." That ending you just described seems like it would have made the movie better.

Also, the Weeds season 3 given to me by my friend is a BLANK DVD with "Weeds season 3" written on it, what the fuck... So I have seasons 4 and 5 but no season 3. This is frustrating.

READ THE DAMN BOOK IT'S SO MUCH BETTER

doesn't matter which ending you read, everything before it is more than enough.

I think the main satisfaction with the book is that about half way through, you can actually understand what they are saying. I don't think I would have got through the start without the informative foreward that gave some hints and tips about the slang.
